I feel it is my duty as a psychiatrist to help my patients through this crisis in any way I can.

Humour can help with that.

That’s why I wear the clown mask.

It cheers them up.

Some even cry with laughter when they see me for the first time.

And then, after the session, I send them a balloon.

Just for fun.

To let them know that I’m thinking of them.

All the time.

As an extra bonus, I unknowingly cured two of my patients of coulrophobia.

Fear of clowns.
